To try out FFDB.EXM, I recommend the following:

1. Copy FFDB2.HLP to the c:\_dat\ directory.
2. Place FFDB.EXM wherever you would like to keep it.
3. Add FFDB.EXM to the application managers.
4. Start up FFDB using the application manager.

When FFDB starts, Select Menu->File->Open and open FFDB.WD. FFDB.WD will show you some of the capabilities of FFDB.EXM. Use it to evaluate FFDB's utility.

I find that I like to use small windows with just the subject line visibile, and then use the F9-Find function to quickly narrow down to a specific window that I want to see. Then press F2 twice (Resize, Full Screen) to view the note (this works best for notes that don't take more than one screen), and then press ESC to go back to the original size.
