The Hawker Hurricane IIC
One of the main protagonists of the
Battle of Britain was becoming outclassed
as a fighter as early as late 1941. By
1942 it was used mainly as a fighter-
bomber.
The IIA referred to the version with 8 x
.303 Brownings in the wings with 334 rpg,
the IIB had 12 machineguns, and the IIC
had 4 x Oerlikon or Hispano 20mm cannon.
Some IICs also were fitted out for
underwing rockets or 2 x 500 pound bombs.
The specialized Mk IID was a "tank-
buster" version, with 2 x .303 Brownings
in the wings and 2 x 40mm Vickers Type S
cannon pods with 15 rounds each.

(316) mph at 18,000 (19,000) feet, range

          YOUR MISSION
As you approach the target, four Bf 109s
circle apprehensively. Perfect your
deflection shooting techniques on these
enemy targets. For an accurate
deflection shot, you must shoot at the
point in space where the enemy plane
will be when your bullets reach it.

Your Hurricane cannot be damaged and
has unlimited ammunition.

Your mission will not end automatically.
You must choose to quit. Please see
your reference guide for instruction
on how to quit, as well as information
on other controls.
