"PRANG THEM BOYS."

Group Captain Albert Houle was leading 6
Hurricane IICs of the No. 213 Squadron on
a strafing mission to the Axis airfield
at Jalo on the 15th of November 1942,
during Rommel's retreat. Normally, radio
silence was in effect, but enroute to
Jalo a dust cloud was seen, and upon
checking, the R/T came to life with,
"Prang them boys. They're Heinies."
Eight armored cars were quickly
destroyed. After returning to rearm and
refuel, the Hurricanes started their
mission to Jalo again. They were
unexpected at the airfield, as mechanics
were still working on the planes when the
Hurricanes began strafing. Said one
pilot, "when I fired there was a bloke
still wiping the windscreen." Five
Italian planes and a Ju88 were destroyed.
The Hurricanes then did immense damage to
scores of armored cars, trucks and troops
dispersed about the airfield.

MISSION

Take your flight of Hurricanes and strafe
the enemy vehicles (represented by flak
guns) at the first target, then continue
on to the second target (the airfield at
Jalo) and destroy the planes there.
