FLY WITH JV 44 !

In April 1945, Galland's JV 44, equipped
with Me 262s, was moved to Riem airfield
near Munich. Due to the general bad supply
situation at that time of war, fuel and
spare parts for the jets were scarce.
Despite this factor and the complete
allied air superiority, the skilled pilots
of JV 44 shot down more than 50 aircraft
in just that single month of April.

YOUR MISSION

You and your wingman, both flying
Me 262s, are on a bomber intercept
mission over Bavaria. Several B-17s
are flying are en route to bomb Munich
railway. However, as you are just
nearing the heavies, you notice two
P-38s, which are on fighter sweep
ahead. Shot them down first before
going after the B-17s.
Another pair of Me 262s from JV 44
is approaching the bombers from the
other side.
