V BRIDGE

November 1944. The allies have now
established an even stronger foothold in
Europe since the invasion several months
ago. The German High Command is in complete
disarray. Orders that are given in haste
are suddenly cancelled, and now Goring is
wishing to restore the Luftwaffe to its
former glory with the Reich's newest wonder
weapon, the Go 229. However, as is usual
with previous orders by herr Goring, this
assignment pits an aircraft to a task for
which it wasn't designed for. The allies
are advancing on German borders, they must
be stopped, Hitler orders Goring to destroy
all the bridges once they are captured by
the allies. To accomplish this, Goring
orders the Go 229 to the task. A flying
wing as a dive bomber?

                   YOUR MISSION

You are given the task of destroying the
Maastricht bridge. Accompanying your 3 Go
229 flying wings are 4 FW 190 top aces
operating out of Bonn. The allies are
heavily patroling the area with P-51D's.
The Mustangs have been following a criss
cross pattern of patroling the captured
territories. 2 groups of well armed, top
aces fly out from different airfields. The
idea is to cover the sectors that are the
most vital, with the maximum availability
of fighters. Use the speed and climbing
ability of the flying wing to accomplish
your mission but remember, the Go 229 is
definitely NOT a dive bomber!
